She was the youngest person ever elected as Chair of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners. As Chairwoman of the Senate Agriculture Committee, a senior member of the Senate Finance Committee, and Budget Committee, and a member of the Environment and Public Works Committee, she has a powerful and unique role to play in shaping our nations health care, manufacturing,infrastructure, environment,and agriculture policies.
